What Beans and Chips loved… (December 2014)

We’ve had a wonderful month, but one that sadly saw most of my photos deleted by the delightful Beans. So here is our monthly link up with the lovely Dinky Thinks  for our best loved bits of the month.

The pre-Christmas build up was great fun. Beans had a fantastic time with all of the activities at nursery including Christmas Jumper day and starred as a fairy in her first nativity. It was very cute and she made the local paper again. It’s always lovely to open it and see her beaming smile grinning up at you!

One of the highlights of our month was a trip on the Santa Steam train  at the local railway station. It was simply fantastic and a brilliant day out. Both girls really enjoyed it. We had our own carriage, both girls got a present (Beans got a book set and Chips got a cuddly puppy), there was sherry and mince pies for the grown ups and fruit shoots and chocolate snowmen for the little people. It really was a wonderful day with lots of memories made. Although I think my brother, at 30 years young, enjoyed it most of all!

Christmas was grand. Lots of lovely new toys and time spent with family, followed by lots of lovely snow on Boxing Day.

And so that is the end of 2014. I summed the year up in the Big Fat Review of 2014 but I cannot wait to make some new memories in 2015 and I look forward to sharing them all with you.

Happy New Year to you all and I hope 2015 is everything you want it to be.
